I’m a highly experienced and award-winning Sound Designer of radio commercials, trails, documentaries and podcasts.

I began in radio as a presenter in the late 80s and moved into audio production around the turn of the century. I've been creating audio content ever since.

Until recently worked for the BBC as a Studio Director at Radio 5 Live, and then as Head Of Production for Made In Manchester Productions. I'm now a freelancer where my clients include BBC News, BBC Creative, The Economist, Jasper Films and MIM Productions. I mainly record, edit and mix and master documentaries and podcasts, but also do some location recording work and the odd voiceover. There are some examples of my work here.
